Significance

2 corin 2:14 - thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph. Always is a pretty powerful word and forces a huge amount of faith. But you have to understand the significance of "always" or "all" or "everyone". Using these absolutes gives us confidence to look "every" tough situation in the face and know God is making things happen for a great outcome.

It is easy to praise God when things are going good but what about the split second after terrible news at the worst time? What a test of faith and maturity that time is. Do we over react like a selfish child or do we stay strong through Jesus? Simple changes in perspective will make you stronger.

Recently I had what I thought was a wide open door slammed in my face. Praise God!!! In that slammed door I know it was not what God wanted and He has better in store for me. If He is the author of time I think He knows what to open and what to close. Understand a closed door is as important to your success in God as the open ones.

Love to the fam,

Confessions of a Shopoholic

Now, I will say, I am not a shopoholic, if I am anything I am a
dealoholic. I have a hard time buying soemthing unless I feel fairly
confident it is at the lowest possible price. For those of you
that know me persoanlly you know there is one brand loyalty I will not
give up for some time.

Think about the shopoholic... Or any other oholic, there is the video
gameoholic, tvoholic, phoneoholic, etc. The oholics have a common
trait, extreme passion and appetite only satisfied by the prefix of
oholic. My goal is to become a Godoholic. To be driven and hungry
everyday to see what he wants done, to communicate through prayer,
reading and fasting. Just think if every person who called themselves
a "Christian" had a genuine nessity approach to God. Now I think about
what I can do, how can my 'oholicness impact others? I guess nothing
left to do other than feed the appetite.

Live long and prosper

Define your difference

What makes you great, what makes you successful, what different? If
you cannot answer these questions with factual numbers or developed
characteristics then you are not great, successful or different. I
also think you cannot answer the questions unless you can train
someone else to be as, or better than you are. Results without reason
or purpose will probably be catorgized as luck.
If I ended the thought here I would be a hipocrite. How can I ask a
question about having answers without giving an answer. You have to
define who you are and what you do; this is imperitive to continued
success. Defining your strenghts give you purpose and inspiration
while increasing accountability. In whatever you do, whether it's
being a Christian, friend, awesome business person, athlete you have
to identify what makes you able to accomplish your goals.
Love.

Influence

Blogs are a good thing. They allow me to reflect on how amazing my
life is. Now for some readers that may sound arrogant but for those
with "ears" it is a confession of how God is constant and faithful.
It is important to understand no person is successful on their own.
Their success has been nurtured and motivated by the team they have put
around them. On the other side, no one person fails alone. Their
failure has been influenced and directed by who and what they gather
around them. You must take charge of who your friends are, what
influences you take in and what motivations you act on. These
determine your success or failure. So do just that today, make a
change that will create a greater oppurtunity for success. The
knowledge of a wise man and fool are the same; the difference is a
wise man acts on their knowledge while the fool tries to ignore it.
Get on your grind family.

M-Town represented well

Another awesome week in my life. I might have to start carrying a
guitar and get some tattoos so people know things are always rockin.
Absolutely fell in love with the staff at starbucks out by CJs pizza.
They were so cool and accomendating, I can't tell you how excited I
was to see excellence in display in my home town. Part of my
revelation has come from spending the time I am in starbucks with
AMAZING leaders. Which brings me to my purpose for this blog entry;
please answer the following questions:

Name the number of people who are concerned AND ACTIVE in your life
success?
Name the number of people in which u have had conversations about
becoming great in what you desire?
What percentage of your time is spent with those people?
Do you think spending more time with those people will aid your success?

If you don't like your answers u should change it.

Love!
