Significance

2 corin 2:14 - thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph. Always is a pretty powerful word and forces a huge amount of faith. But you have to understand the significance of "always" or "all" or "everyone". Using these absolutes gives us confidence to look "every" tough situation in the face and know God is making things happen for a great outcome.

It is easy to praise God when things are going good but what about the split second after terrible news at the worst time? What a test of faith and maturity that time is. Do we over react like a selfish child or do we stay strong through Jesus? Simple changes in perspective will make you stronger.

Recently I had what I thought was a wide open door slammed in my face. Praise God!!! In that slammed door I know it was not what God wanted and He has better in store for me. If He is the author of time I think He knows what to open and what to close. Understand a closed door is as important to your success in God as the open ones.

Love to the fam,

Confessions of a Shopoholic

Now, I will say, I am not a shopoholic, if I am anything I am a
dealoholic. I have a hard time buying soemthing unless I feel fairly
confident it is at the lowest possible price. For those of you
that know me persoanlly you know there is one brand loyalty I will not
give up for some time.

Think about the shopoholic... Or any other oholic, there is the video
gameoholic, tvoholic, phoneoholic, etc. The oholics have a common
trait, extreme passion and appetite only satisfied by the prefix of
oholic. My goal is to become a Godoholic. To be driven and hungry
everyday to see what he wants done, to communicate through prayer,
reading and fasting. Just think if every person who called themselves
a "Christian" had a genuine nessity approach to God. Now I think about
what I can do, how can my 'oholicness impact others? I guess nothing
left to do other than feed the appetite.

Live long and prosper
